I've gutted my old PSU. The only obvious silk-screening I see are an
oval with "SPI" inside the oval. And, the number(s) 280-000-22 and
R-10... on the back of the PSU's m/b.
Yes, the metal case does show evidence of rust. The cooling fan is dirty
to the max! This does not put me off. For many years this PSU operated
with only "coastal SoCal breezes" wafting in thru a casement apartment
window.
This PSU was never part of my normal PM schedule. It was a truly
run-to-failure test object.
Personally, I think this PCP&C PSU came from Sparkle or SeaSonic. I am
not familiar with the PSU's m/b identifiers, however. I have no plans
to un-solder any more elements to figure this minor mystery out.
This valiant, personal warrior deserves a proper end. I have zero
personal complaints. This bunch of wire and components did its' job to
the bitter end! No tears here....... :)
