Question for the group. The NGO I work for is going to be transitioning from Google Apps to the Microsoft Productivity Online Suite. I'm a bit concerned about this and was wondering what the experience was with the BPOS from the group.
I'm a huge Gmail/Apps fan, as are a couple others in the org, but the management are hardcore Outlook/Office people and have not taken to GApps well. Online office doc collaboration is also a major driver towards BPOS, as is the inability to sync some of the older Blackberries (which the older folks in the org have) with GApps. Of course, my iPhone works beautifully. My major concern is that I'm going to be forced to use some crappy, slow web interface over a VPN that has half the features of Gmail/Apps. And I'm concerned that it won't play well with my iPhone. We're only 10 people, with 4 of us in remote offices around the world and the rest in the home office in Colorado. 6 of us (including me) travel extensively so offline access and sync is really important. So should I be concerned? --------------------------- Brian Weeden Technical Advisor Secure World Foundation <http://www.secureworldfoundation.org> +1 (514) 466-2756 Canada +1 (202) 683-8534 US
