So to follow up on this, we had a meeting with the IT consultant today. She is still insisting that we go to BPOS and unfortunately the management hates Gmail so my concerns about leaving Google are falling on deaf ears.
I brought up the possibility of using Google Apps for just email/calendar and using Office 2010 Live SharePoint for doc collaboration, but that was shot down. I brought up waiting a few months to see how things pan out with Office Live and it was determined we have to move now. The IT consultant said that BPOS 2010 is out and that it has all the email features as Gmail. However, it seems that I'm not able to demo it. Can anyone confirm that statement? --------------------------- Brian Weeden Technical Advisor Secure World Foundation <http://www.secureworldfoundation.org> +1 (514) 466-2756 Canada +1 (202) 683-8534 US On Fri, Jun 4, 2010 at 4:41 PM, <[email protected]> wrote: > Um, bpos is undergoing monumental changes this summer. > > Its called office 2010 changeover and 2010 online... > > Sent via BlackBerry > > -----Original Message----- > From: Brian Weeden <[email protected]> > Date: Fri, 4 Jun 2010 16:27:26 > To: <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: [H] Microsoft Business Productivity Online Suite > > Which service is undergoing the big changes and can you give some details? > > I can certainly see the advantages of the SharePoint and Live Meeting.
