or just check the power switch connector (from the front of the case) to ensure it is on and has the right polarity...

Try bypassing the power switch on the case and just short it with a screwdriver

if it powers up in case of a grounding issue.

Subject: [H] Hooked up everything, PC won't start

Hey,

I took my daughter's old m/b , cpu, psu, ram and all and was putting it into
another case to make a low powered server.

I have everything hooked up (I believe). The m/b power light glows, but
when I press the power button, nothing happens. No fans spin up or
anything.

Before I take it all apart to try again, does anyone have any suggestions on
what I could check or try?

BTW, I had asked earlier about putting on Windows Server 2008 R2. Turns out
I can't since this is a 32-bit P4. 2008 R2 is only 64-bit.

Thanks,

Bobby
