There should be a 2-pin connector for power that comes from the case
that goes to a place on the mobo...make sure that in the right spot. If
it is make sure the plus side of the connector is on the plus side of
the mobo pins. You might just have it on there backwards. If so, switch
it around.

Hi Anthony,
How would I test the switch?
Thanks,

Try bypassing the power switch on the case and just short it with a
screwdriver to see if it triggers power. Always test the board outside of
the case to see if it powers up in case of a grounding issue.

Hey,
I took my daughter's old m/b , cpu, psu, ram and all and was putting it
into
another case to make a low powered server.
I have everything hooked up (I believe). The m/b power light glows, but
when I press the power button, nothing happens. No fans spin up or
anything.
Before I take it all apart to try again, does anyone have any suggestions
on
what I could check or try?
BTW, I had asked earlier about putting on Windows Server 2008 R2. Turns
out
I can't since this is a 32-bit P4. 2008 R2 is only 64-bit.
Thanks,
Bobby
