[H] USB External connection

I have an old external hard drive case that uses actual cables to 
connect to a SATA drive.  I basically use it with the cover off to 
attach and access drives in the shop.  It has died on me, so I'm 
looking for a replacement.  All the current cases seem to have the 
connectors hardwired to the board, so I don't have the flexibility of 
cables.  I found this on the net - has anyone used these before?
