Happy America's Birthday!!!

PC shuts down properly from OS. Post shutdown, this PC will NOT turn back on from its' PwrOn button UNTIL I pull the AC cord out of the PSU and plug it back
in to the PSU. WTF?

??? The PSU 1/0 switch has no effect either.
(suspect this switch is only on one of the AC lines(?))

Wiring is:
APC UPS-----Tack strip w/surge protection*----AC cord to PC.

*the only other load on the tack strip is the wort for the KVM switch.

I can/will swap the tack strip.
I can/will swap the PC power cord (have many!).
Yes, I will now open the PC and check/recheck the main power bus to the m/b.
[Because]
When I unplug/re-plug the PC power cord, the PC powers right up
normally from ITS' PwrOn button!!! Most strange to me.

Conclusion: The PwrOn logic of the m/b is working just fine(?).
Conclusion: The internal PwrOn logic of this PSU is now TU....... :)

Opinions?

The PC PSU swap out could be problematic due to current spares and the age of
this PC! Still, I do suspect the PSU ATM.
Best,
Duncan
