I use Windows XPpro sp3....patches up to date!
I use 4 USB 'thumb' drives.
I use an Iomega 3.5in Floppy drive.
For the past 2 wks, I now see 'yellow triangle!' msgs pop up when I
finish using a
USB device telling me that 'something/someone' is still using the
device. Odd? I am
the only 'user' I think.
A recent msg is:
"The device 'Y-EData USB-FDU USB Device' cannot be stopped because a
program
is still accessing it."
Except for the device mentioned above, I get similar msgs against my
'thumb' drives
also now.
I don't really wish to load another program. I have this bad feeling I
am loading
programs watching programs watching programs, etc.
Last programs installed are Secunia 2.0 and ESET V5 beta. Both of these
proggies
were installed 3 months back.
Opinions? Suggestions? Experiences?
