I just called the hotel and left a voice message for the Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas Convention Coordinator (her assistant apparently could be of no help). My hotel reservation has some very ambiguous information in it. On one hand, it shows a five-night total of $595.00 plus 70.92 in taxes for a grand total of $665.92. When you divide this by 5, it comes out to the AJL base rate of $119.00 per night plus taxes of $14.184 for a total each night of $133.184. Yet, under "Room Information," it states "JUN 16 RATE AT 189.00." I am trying to get this straightened out but, as yet, have had no luck. Also, the type of accommodation I requested does not show up in my reservation.
Obviously, I am not the only one experiencing these snags as Yelena's and other people's messages attest. I wonder if there is one person who can rectify this situation universally for everyone who makes or attempts to make a reservation at the special AJL Convention rate. >Elliot H. Gertel Irving M.
