"Expulsion" in English implies it was involuntary. The Palestinians claim they "expelled" the Israelis from Gaza (the Israelis wanted to stay, but they fled in terror before superior Arab military strength).
Saying "Expulsion" (probably "girush" in Hebrew) implies that the Israelis wanted to stay and were forced to leave. Rather, the democratically elected Israeli government, in accordance with its laws, ordered its citizens to leave territory over which Israel does not claim as sovereign, and arrested some of its citizens for violating Israeli law. Using "expulsion" in this context, supports a view of some Jews living in Israel that the Israeli government is illigitimate and illegal - and this is not a sufficiently accepted position for LCSH to embrace. "Pinui" meaning "evacuation" would be great for LCSH, except that the English language reference sources used "Disengagement". Since we'll soon be able to have multilingual references in UF, this would be a good example of the advantage of having different languages as 450, since the terms don't readily translate.
