Lee Jaffee's thoughtful "take" on the treatment of "Palestine" in this encyclopedia is a welcome alternative view to that of David Elazar, who want's to eliminate Palestine as a geographical entity.
Amazingly, this is indeed a free resource, from the intro <http://jwa.org/encyclopedia/about>. I've perused most of the the Canadian entries and find them to be very thorough and accurate.
