Gracious, knowledgable, refined, understanding, tolerant, elegant, a truly beautiful woman and human being. Always welcoming and inquisitive, great for a chat or for repartee, serious and businesslike, yet unlike so many others still excited by new material, ideas and knowledge. She will be missed by all of us who have known her, especially by the students, those she mentored, along with her colleagues, and most of all by her family, who she loved to talk about, supported and loved. May her memory be for a blessing and may her deeds continue to influence others for years to come.
