The funeral will be in Israel, and the flight to Israel is today. As plans for a memorial at the Gottesman Library of Hebraica-Judaica materialize, we'll send out a notice. Throughout her illness, rather than talk about herself and her physical discomfort, Leah expressed concern for others--about the effect of her absence on their work loads. In the workplace, Leah was always disarmingly candid and honest; she never hesitated to bring up important issues, regardless of how challenging those issues were. After decades of service, Leah seems inseparable from the history of Yeshiva University Libraries. We all share in mourning her loss.
