This patch is not finished. I'm posting it because others have expressed an
interest in helping carry it forward. At this point it works to build the jar
and the docs. The test target fails. All this work has been done on my Linux
machine. I haven't tested it yet on Mac.
I did not attach the jpg files that are in the documentation directory. Unless
someone is dying to see them I won't bother.
After applying this patch you will need to run
svn propedit svn:externals hive
and add one line to the file:
-r 1085590 http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf//hive/tags/release-0.7.0 external
