I don't see an easy way to integrate their techniques into Cfengine, but the idea of committing each change, and being able to roll back to a previous state, certainly exists in that world. -Josh ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) _______________________________________________ Help-cfengine mailing list [email protected] http://cfengine.org/mailman/listinfo/help-cfengine
This is trivial, and what I alluded to at the start. Of course you can do version control on your cfengine config, and rolling back means going back to the previous version. Whether or not that is the same as rolling back in time depends on the fullness of your specification -- Mark Burgess Professor of Network and System Administration Oslo University College ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Work: +47 22453272 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fax : +47 22453205 WWW : http://www.iu.hio.no/~mark ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ _______________________________________________ Help-cfengine mailing list [email protected] http://cfengine.org/mailman/listinfo/help-cfengine
