The structure of the yurt is designed so the ring where the roof meets
the walls is where the force is directed downward. So, your tape
anchors running from there should be sufficient. Having done crossing
anchors at one point, for added downward security, having them go
across the face of the wall panels in a forshortened X running from
the afore-mentioned wall ring, worked just fine.

It did mean 2 rebar canes per side that was done that way (all but the
door side, which had several engineering challenges) but was quite
solid. Also, the double-floor was a bit of a challenge. The large
tarp was attached to the outside, as high as the bottom-cutout of the
door, before setting it on the ground. The pad was then dragged
inside, smoothed out, and then each side lifted just enough to sneak
the edge of the pad under the wall, and then the second tarp was
attached, around the walls on the inside. I believe the weight of the
pad also contributed to the stability of the yurt.

I hope this helped.
