I'm personally very in favor of the tape strands on a 8' hexayurt going over *every* point and mid-way through every wall. It's not that much work to make the 12 tape anchors, and at that point it's as strong as it can reasonably be. The 6' Stretch hexayurt may need additional anchors mid-way up the wall, but in that case those anchors should *not* just to straight over the middle of the roof - that'll cause the building to splay under load - those straps should go diagonally across to the opposite corners, if that makes sense.
