I've gone back to writing software: google's Go is everything I was interested in about computer science (parallelism, mainly) in a can. I figure we're most of the way on the hexayurt infrastructure stuff (see http://stacktivism.com for the latest flowering of that) and I'm basically reskilling to start on the software to manage hexayurt refugee camps and other off-the-grid deployments. Resource management and allocation code.
Still living in London. Sodding expensive, but that's life. I kinda want to be back in Ireland, but that's not going to happen.
