I think it looks pretty snazzy. What are the dimensions of that top square? 
Still looks to be zero-waste, probably 8.5 sheets right?

I think it'll be interesting to see how the load is carried down the sides 
when you have it tied down. I'd be worried that the single boards would 
collapse inwards if they were too thin. On the other hand, the strength of 
the corners might be enough to carry the load well enough that it'll just 
be another awesome yurt.

+1 for the standing space and a single piece full size door.
