Hi all, I've been reading and studying up on how to construct my first yurt. However, I'll have about three or four days max at the end of the month to put it all together. I'm liking the idea of making a 6' stretch (for 1 person only). Here are some questions that I have. Sorry if they are a bit obvious.
If I bevel the edges, how should I attach the roof panels to some of my wall panels with tape? Do I still need to make danger hinges? If I go with velcro and cordura instead of bifi tape, will it cut down on the costs? Will it take a lot longer? Does it matter which side I cut my vent into? The south side? North side? Door side? I've got 8 panels total in my possession. Could I pull off something like this my first go-around? If so, do I just cut out all of the pieces in the diagram (12 pcs total)? Thanks! Again, sorry if my questions are a bit obtuse. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "hexayurt" group.
