Thanks so much for the response! Yes, I am building the little tiny 6' one 
seen here: http://www.appropedia.org/Hexayurt_schematics

Does this mean all of my pre-taped hinges (only 4 - 2 per 1/2 side of the 
roof) should be loose hinges? That way they can fold? Also, I assume my 
"book binding" edges should be on the outside (foil side) so that when it 
is erected on the playa, there won't be divits in the top? (again, hoping 
that all makes sense, its kind of hard to explain)
