Hi Ivan-
I play through a small (cube shaped) E.A.R. amp 6 nights a week at
the Four Seasons on Maui. It's the best sound reinforcement I've ever
used on my violin, and I started performing live with an Italian rock
band in 1972. I haven't tried my HG through it (currently unplayable
due to humidity overload) but I have heard acoustic guitar through it
as well, and it sounds GREAT. My violin and the guitar both are
captured with Full Fidelity, bass, mid and high all beautifully
expressed. It's a big investment, but worth every penny...
If anyone has a secret for HG's to cure them from humidity overload,
I'd love to hear about it... I can't even press the keys because the
wood has swollen too much...
