I also prefer bulletin board style myself-agree with the 'community'
feeling..but then without this list I wouldn't have joined this one

Hello.

I vote for the bbs. I prefer to keep lists away from the inbox of my email. 
It is so easy to click a bookmark in the browser  to see if there are any
relevant new messages in the  bbs.
