yes, by my reckoning the E will be 3rd from key from that end on a traditional
french-style HG. So it might be hard to get/keep in tune (more
sensitive to weight
of cotton etc) and a bit tricky to play up there, hence the dust of
neglect... Paul

Yes, if you have the usual two octaves - but you'll be playing quite a
way up at the 'dusty end' (of course it won't be dusty for you as you
will have just made it!). G/D would fit it a lot better though. Paul
