Greetings,
I live in Chelmsford Mass - about 40 minutes NW of Boston. I would like to
sponsor a Hurdy-gurdy weekend for New England players if there are enough of
us. It could happen at my house. I have the space to sleep about 6 people
(assuming they can deal with an air mattress). I live in an antique colonial -
I think it has a great sense of history about it, but I'm a bit biased. My
husband, due to almost constant travel for work, has amassed more frequent
flier miles than he can use - so I can probably fly some instructors in as
well. I am an amateur gurdier with a D-G instrument and would really like to
play with some people, learn some more songs and practice my technique.
Is there someone out there who could help me plan this? Help with figuring
out the expense, teachers, what exactly we would do etc.. Let me know - Jocelyn
