Spelled " de La Tour , " wich is a bit odd , as if he wanted his name
to look aristocratic.
If born in the city of Tours it would be " de Tours "
actually , he was born in Vic -sur -Seille , in the duchy of Lorraine ,

Is the "Tour" in "de la Tour" a reference to Patrick's ( Bouffard)
home town?
