Its loud though it throws the tune off.. It goes from nice sounding and when
you hit the open G its like a loud buzz bass sound. I'm very new at this so it
could be anything.. I may have put too much rosing on the wheel.. If I put one
chanter on and leave everything else off when I crank the open note G buzzes
like using the dog string. It didn't do that when I got it but I've changed
cotton and added rosin since then... Could too much pressure on the wheel cause
this.. The problem seems to go away if I put my hand on the bridge and push
down with a little pressure towards the soundboard.. I think what's happening
is for some reason I'm getting too much vibration on that note and I haven't
figured out how to stop it yet... I'll check back after I troubleshoot a little

I just noticed that when I play the G with just the open string length with
one chanter connected only I get a loud bass G like a bass string.. When I hit
the next note A or any other key it goes away and sounds good.. Its only
happening on the Open G.. Seth
