Hello all. I'm excited to be back on the list. My name is Ian Clemons and I live in Portland Oregon. I posted for a few months back in 2003 before attending the Over the Water festival for the first time. I'll be attending again this year and I'm looking forward to getting more buzz back in my life.
I'm very interested in the folk music of continental Europe. I especially like Breton music and the folk music of Spain. La Musgana is my favorite band...for now. I primarily play Irish tunes on the fiddle, but have taken-up the G/C diatonic accordion over the past year or so. I don't have a 'Gurdy yet, but am on the list to get one built. Hopefully one or more of you Festival goers will have a used one in your trunk for sale! When I am able to tear my attention away from musical pursuits, I work as a Physician Assistant in an Emergency Room and am Dad to my 7- and 4-year-old daughters. Thanks, Ian Clemons Portland, OR.
