Hello all. I'm excited to be back on the list. My name is Ian Clemons and I live in Portland Oregon. I posted for a few months back in 2003 before attending the Over the Water festival for the first time. I'll be attending again this year and I'm looking forward to getting more buzz back in my life. Welcome back, Ian. I'm very interested in the folk music of continental Europe. I especially like Breton music and the folk music of Spain. La Musgana is my favorite band...for now. I would love to know more about Breton music. I also like La Musgaña. My favourites from Spain are Jose Angel Hevia, Llan de Cubel and Berroguetto. I also like Cristina Pato, Susana Seivane, etc.... I guess I like all of them. I primarily play Irish tunes on the fiddle, but have taken-up the G/C diatonic accordion over the past year or so. I don't have a 'Gurdy yet, but am on the list to get one built. Hopefully one or more of you Festival goers will have a used one in your trunk for sale! Let me know if you're planning any east coast trips as I would love to put some fiddle and accordion parts on recordings. When I am able to tear my attention away from musical pursuits, I work as a Physician Assistant in an Emergency Room and am Dad to my 7- and 4-year-old daughters. You must be very proud and happy. Jake Thanks, Ian Clemons Portland, OR. ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour
