Tried growing my own but not really a good crop for the UK even under glass
(tiny seed pod - where the fluffy stuff is, not the great big ones they show
on the seed packet) . Not enough sun and heat here, I think. I use Texere
too - and they ship worldwide AND actually market it as being ideal for HGs
and one pack will last a long time - lovely long fibres and they are easy to
get to wrap around the string too even I learned to cotton with it!..

  Hello,
does anyone try to planting cotton?
i think you only need the seed in the natural cotton
someone told me that cotton is easy to grown up, and
it growns up in a "cocoon" (i don't know if this is the correct expresion
i'm using an dictionary, i want to say that the cotton growns in one form
together...

Used and tried almost all the cotton types I could find, including OB.
I stick to Texere Yarns cotton(texere.co.uk). Slick long fibres and not so
  dry and hard as OB's.
