This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Well then as I understand it, you make a folder for your mod, then place the liblist.gam file there which defines the mod name and other things.
But the important thing is to define a game dll which goes under the dlls folder. This is the dll that the server calls for each frame? Of course I understand the server and client can be the same machine or split. Then the Client dlls under the folder cl_dlls is what draws the hud if any since the liblist.gam could specify there is no client.dll, right? The hud is the numbers, health, sheild, score, chat messages, entity polys (such as the hand with the knife or another weapon), right? Am I on the right track? Damn little overview info on this topic. I guess you have to be programing since quake one to understand this stuff. -- _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlcoders
