I tend to change the game description if it's a small update and hope that
people realise that's the reason they can't join old version servers (the
different class tables error message doesn't help them understand).

Some kind of version system would be awesome though - but I can see why they
didn't add it (Steam).

Maybe they'll eventually allow us to automatically update our mods and it
will all become moot.
