I apologize if you were offended by my post. The use of the term
"Commercial" was simply to illustrate that this was a paying gig, not a
recruitment for free help. I acknowledge the fact that the average salary
for that capacity of level designer is indeed ~ 45k annually.

As a matter of fact, we're competitive in wages for all of our lead project
positions in coding. The simple fact is that this is a small project and
offers some of the "rest" of the mapping community a possible income stream
for doing what they are already doing for free anyways.

If some one was to spend 1500 hours (as many
commercial level designers do) on a single map, 200 is
not even worth them doing what I'm doing, and saying -
