I'm aware that w_models are placed in a characters hands via bone
merges but it seems at the moment you merge on the left or right hand
only. Theres a few situations that have occured recently where being
able to swap the hand the weapon is held in would be useful for
animations.

I've looked through the SDK code with no luck but I'm wondering, is
there any pre-built code, method or event that allows you to set which
hand bone to merge against and swap between them?
