That is correct. The 10 simultaneous connection limit is for server message
block (SMB) connections. I.e. any connection made to a windows box using
uniform network naming convention "\\machinename\sharename".

The 10 simultaneous connections I beleive is refered to the file & printer
sharing type connections. When it comes to TCP/IP & Windows you can have as
many connections as the OS/Hardware/Connection can handle.

Hi all!
I have a legal question about Win2k:
When I run a 20 players CS server on a Win2k box, must I have a licence for
20 simultaneous connections or not?
My problem is that legally, a Win2k Pro can only have 10 simultaneous
connections, but I dont'know if the HLDS connections are concerned about
that...
Anyone knows?
