paul, it wasn't the asking that ticked so many off.  It was:

1) the approach
2) totally criticized Valve because he didn't believe in the way the
licensing is (which he could voluntarily not play the game)
3) his use of ALL CAPS to emphasize his angered points (not necessary)
4) it was a client issue and therefore totally OT
5) and now how ppl are defending this troll (is this some underground
movement in this list? a troll takeover?)
