just thought i'd add my own personal story.
when i first got half life i could run the same copy on 5 pc's on my old
lan. when i tried to add the sixth it came back with the cd key in use
error. so i went and got another cd key so we could get all ten pc's. mind
you all these were isolated from the internet and were strictly for mine and
my friends enjoyment. but alas my lan is gone now and the pirating has
stopped. it was fun while it lasted though...
