I already mentioned the trip points of Dan's original email. How people
respond to that, well, that's up to their unique personality. Overall, they
all pretty much said the same thing. Also, everyone has a point where they
find a response "offensive" and obviously, some of you are a little more
touchy than others. It's just people, some are more rough than others, but,
you'll just have to learn to chill and just read through some of the BS and
find a point in the message or just ignore the offensive ones and move on.

Sorry to break the news to you, but, I'm not the "list moderator". Wait,
actually, I'd say that all of the main regulars and contributors as a whole
are the "list moderators". As for the rules, I didn't come up with them
all, they are a compilation of suggestions and many have been modified by
other suggestions from many other admins on this list (emailed mostly in
private of course).

Well, even re-reading Dan's original post and a few others, I guess I could
have "thwacked" him as well. He has every right to be called a "troll" for
that original post (he's cooled off since then). Basically, yeah, I really
don't see the use of a few of you sticking up for this guy and the way he
came off in this list with that original post.
If I were the "list moderator", I would have issued him a private warning
email and asked that he retract some of his comments. If he didn't like
that, I would have simply banned him from the list. But...

LOL, sorry to hear your loss of respect. Then again, I think that it goes
