WTF? Are you connecting to your server via Ethernet? Where is your server physically located in proximity to you? Your ping should never be above 15 or 20 if you're connecting to your server via Ethernet. If your server is on the same side of your broadband modem as your client, something is definitely wrong with your router/firewall config...
