I have a strong suspicion that it's mainly the cheaters that desperately want WON to stay up. Now that Valve has announced the shutdown, HLGuard is catching cheaters on my WON server literally EVERY DAY. Even one of my admins got 4 aimbot warnings before he disappeared! Within hours only the hard-core cheaters will be left. It seems that these "leet hackers" are determined to go kicking and screaming. I started to switch to Steam but had to cancel because of the enormous amount of disk space it needs on my almost-full HD.
