Clients don't need to validate themselves - they can exit and not "exit and
logout" then when the client restarts steam says "do you want to start in
offline mode?"

Then you can play on lan and it works

Make sure your systems are able to connect to the internet. or make your
server unsecure. I believe the problem is that the clients can't validate
themselves.

Hi List

Has anyone ever had any problems administrating a lan event
before? We are in the process of testing our server for our organised
event but keep getting an Invalid session ticket error when we try to
connect. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Cheers

Allan
