I'm not positive, but I think "fps_max" is a client side variable only. I
could be wrong though.

Interestingly enough, no.  I didn't have that variable in the
server.cfg at all....

I've added it though, and set it to 1000.  Now if only I could get
that dern 'stats' command to give me the server FPS I could let you
know if it helped.
