THIS tread will probably go: "WTF?? STOP MAILING ME!"
And within 20-30 more mails he will figure out this is the HLDS
mailinglist he subscribed for.

I fail to see how explaining to him how the memory management theory
didn't hold much water was being 'pissy', would it have been better if I
had just said 'stfu moron' instead? Somehow, I think not. I tried to
explain why I thought his apparent success with that piece of software
was likely coincidental. Why you read it as an attack, I'll never know.
