"You guys need some sunshine." rofl :>)

Great advice for just about everyone, lol. That is some of the most
common-sense advice I've seen on line yet. These danged computers suck the
life out of one don't they? I'm very much a novice computer person. A lot
of the stuff I read on line is way over my head. I'm still waiting for the
computer I can "fix" with a hammer. I think the "help" button should solve
the problem not just talk about what the problem may be, lol. I mean isn't
that a misrepresentation?
Heck I haven't even played dod (or any other computer game)in weeks. I
don't have hl2 and since I seem to have outgrown computer gaming I doubt
I'll ever even play the game I upgraded my computer (after researching for
months) in anticipation off, lol.
But "get some sunshine" now that I understand. Hey, that gives me an idea.
I don't have a girlfriend at the moment and I don't know much about
computers. Finding a smart "geeky" chick would solve a lot of my problems,
lol.
Be well, all
Pete

I signed up to the list to receive HLDS information. All I see is a
bunch of psychologist gamers and admins. Its freakin silly. Its like you
guys have to choreograph how everyone posts.

Not that Clayton was wrong, but ditto about the memory mgmt lecture, for
christ sake all the guy wanted was some tips on running hlds on win2k3.
No need to get all pissy about it folks, either give the dude
suggestions (what ever they may be worth), or bite your figgen tounge,
lord knows we all have to do it on this list on a near daily basis.

I would assume because although your email was valid to a point, it
wasnt
really addressing the situation the original poster had. More of a 'Look
how
big my knowledge pool is' type of post.
