i don't think that would be the case.. because it seems to me that steam
itself would probly just run on one connection. and i have xp pro and have
never had this happen, and i have also used it on home as well.. and i don't
see this problem flooding everywhere.. so i would assume its not the os. and
i know that at times when im working my connection to its max for a period
of time my connection will go out.. so i would most definatly look into it
being either your internet.. or router.. (if there is a router) maybe try
pluging straight into the modem and see if it does it? really i wouldn't
worry about it too much though...

This is no joke. I am temporarily losing net connection when I refresh the
Server browser list. I can play a game fine, until I want to refresh the
server browser. This occurs from the ingame browser and the steam browser.
If using the ingame browser I actually lose connection to the current game.

This is a fresh WinXP SP2 install, all updates installed. Firewall is on,
and I just tried adding all of Steam to the firewall exceptions list and it
still does it. I never noticed the problem before, but I rarely play on
anyone elses server but my own, so I usually just goto Favorites and join my
server.

Any help would be appreciated.
