It comes down to server rules. Many want to play CS without bunny
hopping and silent hop because they feel they shouldn't be in and it's
not the intent the original designers had in mind. Others believe that
anyhing goes as long as it's not hacking since if Valve didn't want it
to happen, they would have remove it. Yes it's official at CPL and other
leagues but please remember many people don't give two s*** about
leagues or what they rule. That's why everyone runs their own servers
with their own rules.

My concern is that to the best of my knowledge these tricks are legal
at many official events. So I can't find good reason to restrict the
usage of these tricks at my public servers. And the fact that I
personally consider this an unfair advantage is not really good
reason... Does anyone have better justification? :)

Yeah same here whisper. It varies on what they are trying to "Achieve".Of
course on our server the outside ledge of de_nuke is a major nono on my
servers. As well as silent planting. And glitching in general. We
normally give
a slap warning then a 30 minute ban then a perm ban depending on how
rude
the person is when we tell them to knock it off.
