It's called sarcasm... even though in drama classes they say "sarcasm"
is not a true emotion so they don't teach it. I used sarcasm, I was
wrong. My point should have been: I have experience as an admin and
player since '99. I've played all the mods but now mainly DOD, CS 1.6,
CS:S, DOD:S. I am not a NOOB.

No... you're incorrect. Have you played CS? Do you want me to film it
with a camera and send you a tape? This is so out there that I cannot
even believe that you wrote this. I think it is you that is "/reading
some links/" and has some alternative motive? Are you the one in charge
of fixing Net code? Modem player? Ask anyone that plays on a regular
basis about this. Better yet, take the challenge of the admin who said
it happens on his server and see what I'm talking about before you
answer. OR read the other responses to this that say the same thing I've
been saying. So No, you're incorrect. It does happen.

In.That.Case!. I'll put this simpler. Lag is a figment of out
imagination?. Opps, sarcasm! (SOMETIMES) A 300 pinger comes to server
that is working perfect. Now, server lags like crazy, teleporting,
choppy, everyone complains... 300 pinger leaves, game back to normal.
Regardless of why? Data connection, hit box algorithms, or "/BUT once
the ping gets so high the server doesn't register enough information to
accurately receive that and calculate it.Hence teleporting/." It can
show up as LLLLLLaaaaagggggg on the client side. It has gotten better
with the updates and as the versions go up but, it's still there.

A lot of links are written by people like yourself. They can have a 100
people saying it's true but, they are the technical type A personality's
that have a hard time believing anything unless they initiated it. "/And
do your own research/" I'll say it again. It only has happen like a
million times to me and others (_willing to see it_) over the last 7
years. When I was admin on CS 1.6 we did test this. We did "research"
over and over until we were satisfied. By the way, interp is locked and
it has no effect on this.

Agreed, I have not paid attention to all the cs updates. My fault. Can
you pay attention to this? Can you recall all the updates in the last
years that caused problems in other areas. Why was there so much work
on the Net code? A solution that works for sure is: Players play
together on servers with others on same kind of connections. Problem
solved. Modem players happy playing with 200-300 ping range, broadband
players all playing below 80 ping range... everyone happy. What would
it take for you to see what I am saying? A mpg of it? VHS tape? DVD?
A signed affidavit with 1000 signatures that can be upheld in court?
BTW, I can send you the original versions that I have downloaded during
the last 7 years if you would like to see them? They won't work but
they are still on my server.

Well, ok so your 15. It's ok! I understand... Trying to impress the
girls! I have not called you a name and I apologize to the other
fellow. I did think he was calling me a newbie. So, to understand
"/how to carry on a discussion on a mail list/" _From your example:_
Make your point one paragraph at a time. So, you can pick your flames
and show how you're the superior race with degrading comments. Always
Flame the person at the end in a way that is subtle but effective.
Always claim that the other guy is just lying about real experience he
may have had and covering it by "/Just reading the message boards/" and
"/Not researching/". Put blame on "/children/" (coping mechanism for
some kind of guilt maybe?) and make it seem "I'm so important.. .so
popular" (filled mailbox, not enough time!) that I must be right in what
I'm saying. Type A personalities! Got to love 'em or they drive normal
people crazy.

Obviously, this will go nowhere.
You don't have to reply since I will not anymore and you're so busy and
a reply is beneath you or whatever?
Oh!... It still Lags regardless of what you've said.
