To clarify also, my definition of lag in this e-mail is not only when
you get yank from where you are to where you were but also, when your
shooting and none of your bullets are registering. BTW, like what
happened to me last night at a server with 36 people.

Wait a second.I thought you said you played since beta .9 in 99?I didn't
know CS:S had beta all the way back in '99?Oh lemme guess that cause you
play both.Yeah....also don't forget Source Vs. HLDS work very
different on
lag comp.

All were
broadband and no ping was over 80. I guy came in at 300 but jumped to
600 then to 800. Not only were we stopped in our place but then after 5
seconds were somewhere else then choppy back and forth till the 600-800
ping went back to 300. We played with this lag as the modem guy kept
spiking until HE voluntarily left stating "I'm sorry guys to mess up
your game. I'm having problems".

And you're full of it dude.

He left and it went back to normal
immediately. I would suggest some of you to play at a server with ALL
low-pingers and watch when a high pinger comes in. As clients we do not
complain about the lag all the time, even we it happens regularly.
Complaints usually only happen after constantly laggy for several
minutes. Test it yourself on the client side

Well the 5 servers I run are low pinger server as most people who play
there
are anywhere between 9-50 ping. And we have people who are regulars
that come
in with +200 pings and game play is not effected a bit.I don't now if me
running 500fps server matter or something. But everything you have put in
everyone of your emails doesn't add up or make sense.I've been playing
since
beta days. And the only time I have seen people join and lag servers is
when
the SERVER doesn't have the bandwidth to support all the client
connections.But ah well.....

I understand that you feel better about yourself when you're expressing
your negativity. If you don't believe me then I will go into the server
with you and show you. We'll go together and you can ask the other guys
about this. If you stay a little while then you'll see it for
yourself. Do you have cs:s on a workstation and use of Broadband? I
can sign this message to you if reading this stuff gets you too angry?
Maybe signing would be good cause you can use your hands to "express
yourself" and release your anger.
