-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I don't use the auto update feature to install the winblows updates, I only use it to tell me that updates are available for download and then I dissallow the auto updates and go directly to the windows update site and download only the updates I want to use.
How easy is it to just go check for updates on the site once every few days. Also, based on winblows past performance, we should know never to use anything of theres unless it's mandatory for the first 6 months, until they have fixed all of the bugs. i have a few other desktops that i do use to support the beta software that comes out but i dont use them for anything serious. The bottom line is, Do not use the autoupdate feature. do it manually. -------Original Message------- From: Matt Albiniak Date: 10/22/06 08:08:37 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [hlds] IE7 and HTTP fast download issue If anyone finds this alleged IE7 fix that's in the steam forums, can you please share the link with the rest of us?
