I put that you think one tab is best because it is what you are used to and the idea of two tabs doesn't fit your mental model. I also put that comprehensive filtering options are great for your more hardcore gamer but that gaming needs to push out of hardcore alone. By offering simpler systems for people who are not so technically minded as hardcore gamers helps open up the game to the masses, people who when they first play a game don't want to be bombarded with strange rule x, y and z, get fed up and quit the game.
